The Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (MPERC) on May 28, 2024, issued the Draft Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Transmission Tariff) (Revision - V), Regulations, 2024.
The MPERC (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Transmission Tariff) Regulations, 2020 (RG -28 (IV) of 2020) stands to end on March 31, 2024, and now the MPERC (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Transmission Tariff (Revision - V), Regulations, 2024, shall specify the principles and methodologies for the next control period of five years from FY 2024-25 to FY 2028-29.
These Regulations shall come into force with effect from April 01, 2024, and shall remain in force for a period of five years i.e. up to March 31, 2029.
The Objections or suggestions, if any, with respect to these draft SOPs shall be taken into consideration by June 18, 2024, and may be sent to “the Secretary, Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission, 5th Floor, "Metro Plaza", E-5 Arera Colony, Bittan Market, Bhopal – 462016”.
