The Central Marks Department (CMD) on May 28, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Extension of the period of concurrent running of IS 15490: 2017- “Seamless Steel Cylinders for On-Board Storage of Compressed Natural Gas as a Fuel for Automotive Vehicles”, with and without Amendment No. 1.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Amendment No. 1 to IS 15490: 2017 was published in June 2021
• The last date of implementation of the Amendment was June 02, 2023
• Now, the last date of implementation of Amendment No. 1 to IS 15490: 2017 has further been extended up to June 02, 2025
