The Paradip Port Authority on May 29, 2024, notified regarding the applications for the issue/renewal of Hawker's License.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The applications have been invited for the issue/renewal of Hawker's License for the year 2024-25, from the following firms:
o Authorised Used/Waste Oil Receiver
o Ship Chandling
o Buying of Condemned Material
o Garbage Receiver
• It states that the licenses shall be issued as per the "Paradip Port (Issue of License to Hawkers) Order, 2010, as amended in 2021".
• The application shall be submitted in the format prescribed in Annexure I, with a covering letter addressed to the Traffic Manager, PPA along with requisite documents, by June 24, 2024.
• The selected applicants shall be intimated in writing to collect Hawker's License from the Traffic Manager, PPA on payment of license fee and security deposit as applicable.
