Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Kerala on May 30, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Enrollment of vehicle owners to the CBUD App.

The following has been stated: -

•All vehicle owners engaged in excavation activities registered with the Motor Vehicles Department should be enrolled in the Call Before You Dig (CBUD) mobile application.

•App is mandatory for all excavation activities as per Indian Telegraph (Infrastructure Safety) Rules 2022. Non-compliance will attract penalties as per provisions of the Indian Telegraph (Infrastructure Safety) Rules, 2022.
