MoF amended an older notification related to excise duty on certain goods

Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on May 31, 2024, amended an older notification No. 18/2022-Central Excise, dated July 19, 2022, related to excise duty on certain goods.

The following has been stated: -

•In the notification, in the Table, - against S. No. 1, for the entry in column (4), the entry "Rs. 5200 per tonne" shall be substituted.

This notification shall come into force on June 01, 2024.
