Industry Specific Compliance The University Grants Commission (UGC) on May 30, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Demand for mandatory BLS Technique Training in HEIs to reduce the sudden cardiac arrest death rate.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The Higher Educational Institutions are to provide Basic Life support (BLS) techniques training in consultation with the medical fraternity for the benefit of students, faculty, and staff.
