CDSL notified regarding the review of validation of KYC records with KRA

Secretarial ComplianceThe Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on May 31, 2024, issued the notification regarding the review of validation of KYC records with KRA.

The following has been stated namely: -

• CDSL will unfreeze the demat accounts on June 01, 2024, which were earlier frozen for both - debit and credit with freeze reason code “27 – Account holder related–KYC non-compliant”.

• List of demat accounts which will be unfrozen by CDSL for operational convenience of DP, will be made available to the DPs in their respective billing folder with file naming convention as “BLNG<<DP ID>>_ KRA_VALIDATED_BO_01062024.tar”.
