The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on June 03, 2024, notified regarding the FSSAI-NABL Integrated Assessment.
The following has been stated:
• It has been stated that several FSSAI-Notified Laboratories have not yet obtained Accreditation under the NABL-FSSAI Integrated Scheme. All these laboratories are directed to initiate the submission of applications to NABL within 3 months. If any Laboratory fails to do so, appropriate administrative action shall be taken as per the provisions of Regulation 5 (7) of the Food Safety and Standards (Recognition and Notification of Laboratories) Regulations, 2018.
