The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) on May 31, 2024, issued the notification regarding the RuPay Platinum Debit Card Lounge Program
The following has been stated namely: -
• The updated proposition for the RuPay Platinum Debit Card was discussed in the RuPay Steering Committee (SC) Meeting held on May 28, 2024, and the following has been stated:
o For RuPay Platinum Debit Cards:
a. 1 Domestic Airport/Railway lounge access per quarter
b. 2 International Airport Lounge access per annum
• The RuPay Platinum Debit Lounge program will be effective from the quarter starting July 01, 2024.
• Issuers shall communicate the updated Lounge program to the cardholders through the bank's communication channels including but not limited to, welcome kits, e-mails, SMS, and website.
