Industry Specific Compliance The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on June 03, 2024, issued the Clarification regarding Selling/Marketing of Reconstituted fruit juices as “100% Fruit Juices”.

The following has been stated:

• It has instructed all the FBOs to remove the claim of 100% Fruit juices from the label and advertisement of the fruit juices.

• It has further stated that all the existing pre-printed packaging materials shall be exhausted before September 01, 2024.

This notification will come into force from June 03, 2024.
