The Government of Uttarakhand on January 06, 2024, notified regarding the insertion of two new rules in Rule 292 and Rule 304 of the Registration Manual.
The following two new rules have been inserted in Rule 292 and Rule 304 of the Registration Manual respectively:
• Rule 292 A - In addition to the presentation mentioned in Rule 292, the Registering Officer may also accept the virtual presentation of instruments.
• Rule 304 A - The registering officer shall be able to satisfy himself by verifying the execution of the deed of the parties and ensuring the identity of the parties through the process of video conferencing verification and the process of Aadhar Authentication at the will of the parties.
