The Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (APSERC) on May 29, 2024, notified the Draft Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Procedure, Terms and Conditions for grant of Distribution Licence and other related matters) Regulations, 2024
The following has been stated: -
•Regulation 2 specifies various definitions of the terms like Annual Accounts, and Distribution Business.
•Regulation 3 is about MoP provisions of Distribution of Electricity Licence (additional requirements of Capital Adequacy, Creditworthiness and Code of Conduct) Rules, 2005 and its amendment.
•Regulation 4 specifies the Application for Grant of Distribution Licence.
•Regulation 5 mentions Copies of maps and draft licenses for public inspection.
Any comments/suggestions/objections on the draft regulations may be sent by any interested person(s) / stakeholders by June 21, 2024.
