The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) on June 04, 2024, notified the Precision Roller and Bush Chains, attachments and associated Chains sprockets (Quality Control) Order, 2024 in supersession of the Precision Roller and Bush Chains, attachments and associated chains sprockets (Quality Control) Order, 2023.
The following has been stated: -
•Rule 2 specifies the Compulsory use of Standard Mark.
•Rule 3 is about the Certification and Enforcement Authority which is the Bureau of Indian Standards.
•Rule 4 mentions the Penalty for Contravention.
It shall come into force on June 05, 2024.
