Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (MoCAFPD) on June 05, 2024, notified the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Registration of Warehouses (Amendment) Rules, 2024 further to amend the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Registration of Warehouses Rules, 2017.

The following has been stated: -

•Rule 27 shall be substituted which specifies about the mandatory issuance of e-negotiable warehouse receipt.

They shall come into force on June 05, 2024.
