The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on June 05, 2024, issued the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) (Seventh Amendment) Order, 2024, to further amend the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003.
This shall come into force on June 05, 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In Schedule I “Points of Entry for Import of plants/plant materials and other Articles” after serial number 24 and the entries relating, the following serial number and entries shall be added, namely:
o 25 Dalu
o 26 Dawki
o 27 Fulbari
o 28 Hili
o 29 Ghasuapara
o 30 Mahurighat
o 31 Sabroom
o 32 Srimantapur
o 33 Sutarkandi
