The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on June 06, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Enabling provisions for the import of inputs that are subjected to mandatory Quality Control Orders (QCOs) by Advance Authorisation holders, EOU and SEZ.
The following has been stated:
• It has stated that in pursuance of Notification No. 71/2023 dated March 11, 2024, the Department of Chemicals & Petro-chemicals have been added to the list of Ministries/Departments under Appendix 2Y of Foreign Trade Policy, 2023.
This notification will come into force from June 06, 2023.
