The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) on June 06, 2024, notified the International Financial Services Centres Authority (Book-keeping, Accounting, Taxation and Financial Crime Compliance Services) Regulations, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•Regulation 2 specifies the objective of the regulations that is these regulations aim to put in place the regulatory framework relating to development, registration, and operations of Book-keeping, Accounting, Taxation, and Financial Crime Compliance Services from International Financial Services Centres.
•Regulation 3 lays down various definitions of the terms like BATF Service Provider, and Specified Foreign Currency.
•Regulation 4 mentions the Registration for BATF Service Provider.
•Regulation 5 specifies the Application for Registration.
These regulations shall come into force from June 07, 2024.
