The Government of Jharkhand on May 20, 2024, notified the Jharkhand Protection of Depositors' Interests (in Financial Establishments) (Repeal) Act, 2024 to repeal the Jharkhand Protection of Depositors' Interests (in Financial Establishments) Act, 2011.
The following has been stated: -
•Any work done or any action taken under the powers conferred under the Jharkhand Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 2011 shall be done or taken under the powers conferred by this Act and it shall be deemed to have been passed as if this Act was in force on that day.
It shall come into force immediately.
