Industry Specific ComplianceThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on June 05, 2024, issued an Advisory for Fire Safety Compliance in Schools.

The following has been stated:

• Conducted regular drills and fire safety programs.

• Conducted structural and non-structural fire safety audits.

• Conducted fire safety/ disaster management mock drills.

• Ensured that the fire extinguisher/ alarms are installed. checked regularly and the Fire Safety Certificate is renewed before the expiry date.

• Followed scrupulously the norms w.r.t. to the storage of inflammable and toxic materials in the Chemistry Lab.

• Confirmed to the norms of local building bye-laws.

• Ensured that the students and teachers undergo training for the school safety and disaster preparedness.

• The Schools may furnish the action taken report on the OASIS portal by July 10, 2024.
