The Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (APSERC) on May 07, 2024, issued the Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Power Purchase and Procurement Process of Licensee) Regulation, 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• These Regulations extend to the whole of the State of Arunachal Pradesh
• The State Commission shall regulate the Electricity Purchase and Procurement process of distribution Licensees including the price at which Electricity shall be procured from the generating companies or licensees or from other sources through agreements for the purchase of power for Distribution and supply within the State.
• The Short term and long term Power Procurement Procedure has been stated.
• These Regulations shall come into force from May 07, 2024.
