The Government of Gujarat on March 15, 2024, issued the Master of Computer Application Course (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) (Amendment) Rules, 2024, to further amend the Master of Computer Application Course (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) Rules, 2020.
This shall come into force on June 07, 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In rule 2 (1), clause (ee) shall be inserted - "CoE" means the Centre of Excellence as defined in clause (d) of rule 2 of the Gujarat Professional Technical Education Colleges or Institutions (Procedure for Declaration of Centre of Excellence) Rules, 2020."
• In rule 4, para C shall be inserted which states about "Government Seats of "Centre of Excellence".
• In rule 9, sub-rule (3) shall be inserted – “Each unaided college or institution including notified "Centre of Excellence" shall submit all the details with necessary documents as prescribed by the Admission Committee after completion of admission as announced by the Admission Committee in stipulated period as notified by the Admission Committee. After verification of the admissions under all quotas, the Admission Committee shall issue the final admission list to the respective institute. No admission shall be treated as valid admission unless the name of the candidate is mentioned in the final admission list issued by the Admission Committee. The University shall not enroll any candidate whose name is not mentioned in the admitted list issued by Admission Committee.”
