The Government of Gujarat on June 06, 2024, issued the Master of Planning Courses (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) (Amendment) Rules, 2024, to further amend the Master of Planning Courses (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) Rules, 2020.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In rule 5, for sub-rule (1), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely:
o "(1) The candidate shall have passed the qualifying examination, as specified in column 4 of the Appendix."
• In rule 5, in sub-rule (2), for clause (a), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:
o "(a) passed the qualifying examination, as specified in column 4 of the Appendix."
• In rule 22, after sub-rule (2), the following sub-rule shall be added, namely:
o (3) Each unaided college or institution including notified "Centre of Excellence" shall submit all the details with necessary documents as prescribed by the Admission Committee after completion of admission as announced by the Admission Committee in the stipulated period as notified by the Admission Committee. After verification of the admissions under all quotas, the Admission Committee shall issue the final admission list to the respective institute. No admission shall be treated as valid admission unless the name of the candidate is mentioned in the final admission list issued by the Admission Committee. The University shall not enrol any candidate whose name is not mentioned in the admitted list issued by the Admission Committee.
This notification will come into force from June 06, 2024.
