The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on June 10, 2024, notified regarding the Standardization of Exchange to Member Interface files in Unified Distilled File Formats (UDiFF) – Update.
This is in continuation to circular number 20240524-1 dated May 24, 2024, regarding the Standardization of Exchange to Member Interface files in Unified Distilled File Formats (UDiFF). Kindly refer below points for revised dates.
The following has been stated:
• Splitting of Trade file where the record is more than 1 crore:
As informed via circular number 20240524-1 dated May 24, 2024, regarding the Splitting of the Trade file where the record is more than 1 crore. Exchange is preponing the release date as below:
o It is proposed to make the aforesaid change live from Monday, June 24, 2024, end of the day instead of July 08, 2024, in Equity, Equity Derivatives, Currency Derivatives & Commodity Derivatives.
• Discontinuation Date:
As informed via circular number 20240429-1 dated April 29, 2024, the date to discontinue the Trade and Bhavcopy file in the old format (existing & standardized format) was June 21, 2024, however, Exchange has now postponed the discontinuation date.
o Now Trade and Bhavcopy files in the existing & standardized format shall continue to be made available in parallel with the new UDiFF files till Friday, July 05, 2024. Thereafter, Trade and Bhavcopy files shall be available only in the UDiFF format.
• Kindly refer to the enclosed Annexure for a list of existing & standardized files which shall be discontinued from July 08, 2024.
