INX notified regarding the code of advertisement for broker-dealers

Secretarial ComplianceThe India International Exchange (INX) on June 11, 2024, notified regarding the code of advertisement for broker-dealers.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It is in reference to part B of schedule III “CODE OF CONDUCT” of IFSCA (Capital Market Intermediaries), Regulations 2021, it states that “A Broker Dealer or a Clearing Member shall not advertise its business publicly unless permitted by the stock exchange.”

• It is in reference to the circular 20171013-1 dated October 13, 2017, issued by the Exchange, which states that the code of advertisement attached as Annexure-A shall be applicable to all the members of the Exchange.

• It states that members shall adhere to the Code of Advertisement and take prior approval from the Exchange by submitting applications along with the undertakings prescribed in Annexure A, Annexure B, and Annexure C before issuing any advertisement.

• It states that members shall apply for approval to the membership operations department of the Exchange at least fifteen days in advance before the issuance of the advertisement by sending an email to [email protected]
