The Government of Haryana on June 07, 2024, issued the Haryana Excise (Amendment) Rules, 2024, to further amend the Haryana Excise Rules, 2019.
The following amendments have been stated:
• For rule 6, which states “Number of retail outlets for IMFL/CL (L-2/L14A”, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:
o “6. Number of retail outlets for Indian Made Foreign Liquor/Country Liquor (L-2/L-14A)-
The maximum number of retail outlets for Indian Made Foreign Liquor/Country Liquor (L-2/L-14A) shall be two thousand four hundred (2400) for the Excise Policy year 2024-2025.”.
• For rule 7, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:
o “7. District-wise wholesale outlets for IMFL/CL (L-1/L-13)
The maximum number of district-wise wholesale outlets for Indian Made Foreign Liquor/Country Liquor (L-1/L-13), for the Excise Policy year 2024-2025 shall be such as specified in Annexure-II.”.
This notification will come into force from June 12, 2024.
