Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) on June 12, 2024, issued a circular regarding the Standardization of Exchange to Member Interface files in Unified Distilled File Formats (UDiFF).

The following has been stated: -

•This w.r.t point C in Exchange circular reference number 62142 dated May 22, 2024, regarding the Splitting of Large files where the record count is more than 1 crore and Exchange is preponing the release date to June 24, 2024.

•Further, as communicated in the aforesaid circular along with circular reference number 61787 dated April 26, 2024, the discontinuation timeline for old formats of Bhavcopy files for FO and CD is extended. Exchange has now postponed the discontinuation dates for the old Trade and Bhavcopy File to July 08, 2024. 

•The existing Trade and Bhavcopy files shall continue to be available in parallel with the new UDiFF format files till July 05, 2024. Members are requested to note the revised discontinuation dates of the files mentioned in the Annexure.

•This has been issued for surveillance & Investigation, Capital Market (Equities) Trade Currency Derivatives Commodity Derivatives, Emerge, Futures & Options segments.
