Labour ComplianceThe Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE), notified the Public Utility Services (Eighth Order) 2024.

The following has been stated-

•The Central Government hereby declares the services engaged in the ‘Banking’ industry, to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act for a further period of six months with effect from June 15, 2024.

It shall come into force on June 15, 2024.
