EHS Compliance The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) on June 20, 2024, issued the Battery Waste Management (Second Amendment) Rules, 2024 to further amend the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022.

The following amendment has been stated:

• In rule 4 which states Functions of Producer, sub-rule (14), for the Table, the Table has been substituted.
