MCX issued a circular regarding the System Audit of Trading Member

Secretarial ComplianceThe Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on June 21, 2024, issued a circular regarding the System Audit of Trading Member.

The Trading Members are required to conduct a system audit of their software through the System Auditor as per Auditor Selection Norms and submit the System Audit Report (SAR) to the Exchange within the timeline as mentioned in the table.

The members are required to submit the System Audit Report online through Member Portal-https://member.mcxindia.com. Terms of Reference (ToR) – Type II & Type III are incorporated in the online Member portal and ‘System Audit Report – Help File’ is available on the portal and on the shared path https://sftp.mcxindia.com/Common/Online portal help files folder.

All Trading members are requested to take note that, for each non-compliance reported by the auditor, trading members are required to submit a corrective action taken report as per timelines. On review of details of corrective action submitted by the trading member, the auditor shall submit the status of compliance as Compliant or Non-Compliant.

The Members are requested to refer to the below-mentioned documents while submitting the system audit report. 

• Details of Auditor – Annexure I 

• Auditor Selection Norms – Annexure II 

• Terms of Reference (ToR for Type II and Type III) – Annexure III
