The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) on June 21, 2024, issued amendments to an older notification no. S.O. 2340(E), dated June 16, 2021, related to the Recognition of private laboratories.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In paragraph 1, for the words “private laboratories”, the words “laboratories or institutes as environmental laboratories” shall be substituted;
• For paragraph 3, the following paragraph shall be substituted; namely:
o “3. The recognition of laboratory shall be granted for a period of 3 years”;
• The paragraph 4 shall be omitted;
