The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on June 13, 2024, notified regarding the extension of an additional 43 drugs in DG-ESIC Central Rate Contract Nos. 142C, 143C, 144C, 145C, and 146C.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the Authority has approved the extension of an additional 43 drugs/medicines in DG-ESIC Central Rate Contract Nos. 142C, 143C, 144C, 145C, and 145C up to October 31, 2024, or till the finalization of New Rate Contracts, whichever is earlier.
• It states that the supply orders shall be placed only on the first Preference Holders.
• It states that no order shall be placed in respect of drugs, which are "Not of Standard Quality" on test analysis.
• It states that the amendments/ orders (if any) already issued in DG-ESIC Rate Contract(s) 142C, 143C, 144C, 145C, and 146C shall be taken into consideration while placing the supply orders.
• It states that the procurement of the rest of the drugs which were approved in DG-ESIC Rate Contract(s) 142C, 143C, 144C, 145C, & 146C, and for which extension has not been accorded shall be procured as per Public Procurement guidelines of Govt. of India.
