The Government of Uttar Pradesh on February 02, 2024, issued the Uttar Pradesh Municipal Corporation (Property Tax) (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2023, to further amend the Uttar Pradesh Municipal Corporation (Property Tax) Rules, 2000.
They shall be applicable to all Municipal Corporations of the State of Uttar Pradesh.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In the Schedule to sub-rule (2) of rule 4-A, which states “Fixation of the minimum monthly rate of rent”:
o For the existing entries at serial 110.6 set out in Column-I, the entries as set out in Column-II shall be substituted as specified in the Table.
o For the existing entries at serial no.8 set out in Column-I, the entries as set out in Column-II shall be substituted as specified in the Table.
