The Government of Goa on June 25, 2024, issued an amendment to an older notification no 1/4/2023-Fin(R&C)/3784 dated October 27, 2023, related to fixation of rates of excise duty, license fee etc.
The following amendment has been stated:
• In PART-D, in sub-part “(II)-SALE”, after Note 2, the following note shall be inserted, namely:
o “Note 3: 100% additional licence fees shall be charged to the licences issued in relaxation of sub-rule (4) of rule 90 of the Goa Excise Duty Rules, 1964 and also for renewal of such licences.”.
This notification will come into force from June 25, 2024.
