The Government of Goa on June 21, 2024, issued the notification regarding the amendment to the Goa Value Added Tax Act, 2005.
The following has been amended namely: -
• Schedule C has been amended namely: -
o Entry against serial number (3) item (a) shall be substituted, namely: -
“(3) Motor spirit which is commonly known as petrol including ethanol-blended petrol
(a) Sold by the public sector as well as private sector oil marketing companies to their authorized retail outlets within the State 21.5%”
o Entry against Serial Number (4) shall be substituted, namely: -
“(4) High-Speed Diesel Oil (HSD) 17.5%”
This Notification shall come into force with effect from June 22, 2024.
