The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on June 26, 2024, issued a notification regarding the goods specified in the Schedule for the purposes of clause (bc) of section 2 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956.
In supersession of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Economic Affairs) number S.O. 1002 (E) dated March 01, 2024 and S.O. 3068(E) dated September 27, 2016, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, sub-section (ii), except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government, in consultation with the Securities and Exchange Board of India established under section 3 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992
