Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Tamil Nadu on June 26, 2024, issued the Minimum Support Price for paddy in the year 2024-25.

The following has been stated:

• It has recently fixed Rs. 2300/- per quintal of normal paddy as the minimum reference price for the Kharib season 2024-2025. It has also fixed Rs 2,320/- per quintal of fine paddy, with an additional incentive of Rs.105/- per quintal of normal paddy and Rs.130/- per quintal of light paddy.

• It has been approved to take up paddy procurement for the 2024-2025 season from September 01, 2024.
