Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on June 27, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Encryption of Interactive Messages – Reminder for CA Certificate Update.

This is about Exchange Circulars regarding the new CA certificate for the encryption of interactive messages. As stated in the circular, the earlier given CA certificate has a validity of one year only. Hence, members who are still using the old CA certificate are requested to expedite updating to the new CA certificate.

Members connecting via NEAT Adapter (NA) are required to refer to the circular and install the new version of NEAT Adapter exe (i.e. 1.0.19) for all segments (refer to Annexure 3). Members using Direct connection via NNF API protocols are requested to take note of below:

  • Kindly download and use the CA certificate from the extranet path before the expiry of the old certificate (refer to Annexure 1).
  • Kindly configure the interactive connectivity parameters as provided in ‘Annexure 2’.
  • Kindly be advised to use a combination of new CA certificates & new parameters applicable for CM, FO, CD, COM and SLBM segments to log in through the new CA certificate. Please note all other details as mentioned in the above circulars shall remain unchanged.

It applies to Capital Market (Equities) Trade; Commodity Derivatives; Member Service Departments; Emerge; Securities Lending & Borrowing Schemes; Futures & Options; and Currency Derivatives.
