The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) on June 28, 2024, issued the Draft Revised Guidelines and Standards for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure.
The following has been stated namely: -
• These Guidelines shall be called the Guidelines for Installation and Operation of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure-2024
• It shall be applicable to owners/operators of EV charging Infrastructure installed in privately owned parking spaces, semi-restricted places like office buildings, educational institutions, hospitals, Group Housing Societies, e-bus depots, and in public places like commercial complexes, railway stations, petrol pumps, airports, metro stations, shopping arcades, municipal parking and on highways, expressways, etc.
• Comments may be forwarded to the Bureau of Energy Efficiency at [email protected], [email protected] within 30 days.
