The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on June 30, 2024, issued the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2024, to further amend the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations, 2018.
This shall come into force on June 30, 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In regulation 15 (2) – “Transitional provisions”, the words, figures and letters, “till 30th June 2024”, shall be substituted with the words, figures and letters, “till 31st August 2024”.
• In Form XI:
o the words, figures and letters, “Rs. ten lakhs”, wherever they occur shall be substituted with the words, figures and letters, “Rs. five lakhs”
o the words, figures and letters, “Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees ten lakhs)”, wherever they occur shall be substituted with the words, figures and letters, “Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees five lakhs)”.
o the words, figures and letters, “Rs. Ten lakhs”, wherever they occur shall be substituted with the words, figures and letters, “Rs. five lakhs”.
