The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (MoCAF&PD) on June 28, 2024, issued a notification regarding the production of sugar by vacuum pan process.
The following has been stated: -
•It is informed that every producer of sugar by vacuum pan process shall hold white/refined sugar stock tentatively till July 31, 2024, until further order, as per the following: -
Opening stock as of July 01, 2024, Plus (+) Production during July 2024 till July 31, 2024, minus (-) quantity not exceeding the figures as mentioned in column (4) of the table below against respective sugar mills.
