The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) on July 01, 2024, issued a notification regarding registered Producers and Recyclers on the Waste Tyre EPR Portal.
The following has been stated: -
•Registered Producers and Recyclers under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Amendment Rules, 2022 are informed that the timelines for filing quarterly and annual returns have been further extended from June 30, 2024, to August 31, 2024.
•All the registered Producers and Recyclers on the Waste Tyre EPR Portal shall continue to file their quarterly and annual return returns till August 31, 2024, for Financial Year 2023-24 During this period of extension till August 31, 2024, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Certificate generation & transfer will be carried out on EPR Portal.
•The extension of the timeline for filing quarterly and annual returns for FY 2023-24 has been approved by MoEF&CC vide letter No. 12/136/2021-HSM dated July 01, 2024.
