The Government of Lakshadweep on June 21, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Introduction of an Electronic Payment Facility for Non-Tax Receipts through Bharatkosh in UT Lakshadweep.
The following has been stated namely: -
• To modernize and simplify the process of collection of Non-Tax Receipts, it has been decided to allow these collections electronically via the Non-Tax Receipt Portal (NTRP), known as "Bharat Kosh."
• The present system of submitting manual challans to the Dept. of Information & Public Relations for publishing advertisements in Lakshadweep Times has been replaced with a receipt generated from Bharatkosh.
