Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 03, 2024, issued a circular regarding the revised Consolidated Indicative Penalty Structure.

The members are requested to note that Exchange has revised some of the applicable penalties. The revised indicative list of penalties /disciplinary action(s)/charges, including escalation of penalties for repeat violations, is attached as Annexure 1.

It may be noted that the penalties/ disciplinary action(s)/charges are indicative and could undergo a change in specific cases depending on the frequency and gravity of the non-compliance. The relevant authority of the Exchange, on a case-to-case basis and based on the gravity of the non-compliance, shall deal with such non-compliance and decide on the levy of any additional penalty/disciplinary action.

The revised penalties will be effective from July 03, 2024.
