Industry Specific Compliance The Health and Family Welfare Department, Meghalaya on June 27, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Prohibition of the Two Finger Test and Disciplinary Action for Non-Compliance.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Conducting the Two Finger Test on survivors of sexual assault is prohibited.

• Any Doctor found conducting the test will be held guilty of misconduct and strict disciplinary action will be initiated.
