Industry Specific ComplianceThe Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on April 26, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Safety Management System (SMS) Implementation by Ground Handling Service Providers (GHSPs).

The following has been stated namely: -

• A Safety Management System (SM) is a systematic and proactive approach to managing safety risks.

• Appropriate safety committee should be established to support the implementation of SMS across the organisation.

• The Monitoring and Measurement of Safety Performance is stated in the notification.
