The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on June 21, 2024, issued a notification regarding the date of establishment and date of withdrawal of the Indian Standards related to Aluminium Framed Doors, Windows, and Sliders.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Dates of Establishment shall be June 13, 2024: -
• IS 1948: 2024 Aluminium Framed Doors, Windows, and Sliders — Specification (First Revision).
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Date of Withdrawal shall be September 13, 2024: -
• IS 1948: 1961 Specification for Aluminium Doors, Windows, and Ventilators.
• IS 1949: 1961 Specification for Aluminium Windows for Industrial Buildings.
