The National Stock Exchange, (NSE) on July 04, 2024, issued a notification regarding Dummy Securities in NSE Clearing Files.
In view of the above, dummy securities shall be incorporated in the “List of eligible securities in SLBS(csv)” i.e. SLB_ELG_SEC_ddmmyyyy.csv. The securities having the last 7 characters of its symbol as "NSETEST" shall be identified as dummy securities for this purpose.
In this regard, market participants are requested to note that the inclusion of dummy securities in the eligible securities report is purely intended for internal testing purposes at NSE Clearing Limited and hence, market participants are required to ignore the data received for these dummy securities in the said reports.
Any reference/processing/activity/consumption and consequent results on the said data shall be at their own discretion/risk. In no event will NSE Clearing Limited, its officers or its employees be liable for decisions made or actions taken in reliance on the said data.
The above change shall be effective from the trade date of July 08, 2024.
