Labour ComplianceThe Labour Department, Government of Haryana, on July 03, 2024, issued a notification regarding the declaration of holiday on account of Bye-elections to Legislative Assembly Constituencies.

The following has been stated: -

•In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 28 of the Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958, and all other enabling powers, the Governor of Haryana declared "Wednesday" that is July 10, 2024, a holiday with wages for all Shops and Commercial Establishments falling within the jurisdiction area of the State for only those employees who are enrolled as voters in Legislative Assembly Constituencies of 04-Badrinath & 33- Manglaur of Uttrakhand and 34-Jalandhar West (SC) of Punjab to enable them to cast their votes.
