The Government of Jharkhand on June 28, 2024, notified the wage rate for the different categories.
The following has been stated:
• Where no rate of wage has been regulated by way of agreement, settlement or award for such employment applicable for any category or class of workmen, the contractor shall pay the following wages:-
o Un- Skilled – Rs. 12,203.36/- (per month)
o Semi-Skilled – Rs. 12,784.72/- (per month)
o Skilled – Rs. 16,853.20/- (per month)
o Highly-Skilled – Rs. 19,467.76/- (per month)
• Other conditions related to rates of wages, holiday, hours of work and conditions of service shall remain the same as in the original order.
