The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on July 04, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Harmonization of File Formats Across Depository.
The following has been stated:
• The DPs are hereby informed that the parallel live run has been extended till August 16, 2024. Thereafter the existing file formats corresponding to the harmonized file formats will be discontinued.
• Following is the schedule for successful migration to harmonized files by August 16, 2024:
o The DPs are to test the Harmonized files and report any observations/queries latest by July 07, 2024.
o CDSL will verify the observations/queries and provide a resolution by EOD of July 15, 2024.
• The DPs are advised to take note of the same and incorporate necessary changes in their back-office software if any.
